What’s With Aesthetic Desk Setups?

So when did aesthetic desk setups become the hot topic, or did I just not get the memo? Do people still send memos?

I wanted to follow up on my 14-inch MacBook Pro Desk setup tour from 2021 and jump back in on this work from home aesthetic trend that we're seeing everywhere. Especially as more of us are working from home these days.

However, are we actually using our dream desk setups, or are they just set pieces for our minimalist Instagram feed? Another question, are people still using Instagram? A legitimate question.
