The M1 iPad Pro Thunderbolt Performance. Is it Slow?

So is the Thunderbolt 3 port on the M1 12.9 inch iPad Pro 2021 slow and is there a fix coming with the Thunderbolt controller with iPadOS 15 at WWDC?

If you're wondering whether this is the iPad Pro to buy, I ran a few benchmarks to test out the transfer speed from a Thunderbolt 4 enclosure connected directly to the 2021 iPad Pro as well as through a Thunderbolt 4 Hub from Anker to see if there is an actual fix for this issue, or rather if we could see any improvement in performance.

With the Apple Event (WWDC) coming up on June 7th there is a lot of anticipation about what iPadOS 15 will bring, but I find it hard to believe that they’ll be able to improve this speed through a software update. What about you?
