This Sony a6400 and the Sigma 16mm f/1.4 low light setup is a great camera and lens combination on a budget. As I mention in the video, when I speak about budget, let’s put things into perspective.
I’m talking about a budget mirrorless camera and a lens that can work in low light settings I believe this is one of the best APS-C cameras for this style of filmmaking and photography. The Sony A7iii and the Sony A7Siii will perform quite well in low light, but you’re increasing that budget by twice as much if not more than three times the price.
For filmmaking and photography on the go when you don’t have a lot of light to work with you’re going to need camera gear that can perform. I share with you my camera settings and thought process when it comes to filming with the Sony a6400 and a6500 in low light on a budget.
